Hi I am Deb Drinkwater and I manage Purple Bee Training I have worked in the addictions field for more than 20 years and became a Freelance Trainer in 2009.
After facing my own personal difficulties with alcohol some 10 years ago I made the decision to stop drinking – probably the best decision I have ever made.
Although I know that sobriety is not for everyone my sober networks both professional and personal have been a real inspiration to me and 10 years on I remain as passionate about Recovery as ever.
With a focus on Parents Work Young People & Safeguarding I use interactive methods in Training and workshops to involve delegates and provide models of learning which aim to engage empower & educate . Find out more about the services I offer here
Whether raising awareness in groups or coaching individuals on their own Recovery journey I am totally committed to working with people affected by alcohol and other drugs . I work from a strengths based approach with a belief that potential exists everywhere but is often clouded by a blanket of stigma and shame .
Training 
is provided to professionals and within communities to ensure that important aspects relating to Safeguarding are not only embedded within Services but are also understood and embraced by families everywhere. After all its is communities who are and will always be our greatest assets when it comes to society and how the world operates.
